Construction Litigation Attorney

Legility seeks a construction litigation attorney with 3+ of experience to work with an Atlanta-based law firm client.  Qualified candidates will have demonstrated experience in construction law and can handle a file from start to finish, take depositions, argue motions and participate in arbitrations and trials.   Experience with routine construction law issues including security bonds, change orders and construction contract disputes required.  This is a great opportunity for a junior to mid-level attorney looking to do interesting and sophisticated work while maintaining work-life balance.  Billable hours requirement is 1500 hours per year, with competitive salary and a generous bonus structure for additional hours billed.  This is a full-time, permanent role in Atlanta, GA.  Active Georgia license required.  

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in construction litigation

 

  • Experience handling all aspects of construction litigation matters, including drafting and arguing motions, taking depositions and participating in trials and arbitrations

 

  • Experience representing construction clients in a law firm or in-house setting

 

  • Excellent academic credentials and work history

 

  • Superior oral and written communication skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently

 

  • A licensed member in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia.
