Legility seeks an experienced employment paralegal to assist a Nashville-based healthcare company as Employment Practices Paralegal.  The Employment Practices Paralegal will be responsible for overseeing the employment claims and litigation for the entire company and its affiliates. They will assist in investigating and responding to EEOC and state human rights claims, attorney demand letters, and requests for records, work closely with counsel by providing information and documentation, coordinate responses to discovery requests, identify witnesses, arrange depositions, and prepare for trial, coordinate internal and external claims reporting, track of claims and suits, receive correspondence from attorneys representing employees or former employees who have grievances or complaints, research facts and prepare response, and communicate with insurance adjusters and prepare reports related to claims and litigation status and expenses.

Requirements

• Relevant bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Minimum of five years’ experience in claims or litigation, preferably with experience at a law firm and with employment litigation.
• Strong technology skills in such applications as Word, Excel, databases and strong general research skills using the internet.
• Paralegal certificate or related experience
