Legility seeks an experienced Commercial Contracts Attorney to assist a large manufacturing client with Commercial Sales Contracts in Canada, with a heavy emphasis on manufacturing and Canadian construction industry standards. The Attorney will work closely with in-house counsel to draft and negotiate complex sales agreements, provide legal support relating to day-to-day contract issues, and advise on material risks and requirements of commercial sales and construction contracts in Canada. This is a part-time, long-term remote role requiring residency in the United States and a current active law license in good standing.

Requirements

• Demonstrated in-house experience reviewing, redlining and negotiating both template and complex Canadian commercial sales agreements
• Knowledge of Canada’s construction industry standards, including retrofit, particularly in manufacturing facilities
• Demonstrated ability to work well with internal business clients as well as independently
• Juris Doctorate Degree from an ABA-accredited institution.
• 6+ years of legal experience relevant to the position
• Residency in the United States
• License to practice law in State of residency
