Legility seeks an experienced corporate governance attorney with 10+ years of expertise in Corporate Governance, Securities and Compliance to support a well-known Nashville-based manufacturing client. This is a full-time contract opportunity with the potential to grow into a long-term or permanent role for the right candidate. Nashville-location is preferred with an opportunity to work remotely.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in corporate governance, securities and compliance with a top law firm or in-house legal department
  • Significant experience in corporate compliance, securities, and corporate governance handling a wide-range of matters including proxies, Forms 10-K, 10-Q and 8-K, SEC filings, Section 16 reports, conducting investigations, corporate formation and operations, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with Boards of Directors and Board committees
  • Excellent academic credentials and work history
  • Superior oral and written communication skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • A licensed member in good standing with at least one State Bar association
