Legility is seeking a mid-level Corporate Attorney with 5+ years of law firm and/or in-house experience handling a wide variety of general corporate matters for a New York-based law firm. Experience will include a range of corporate work, such as providing advice & solutions to emerging and established companies, entrepreneurs, private investment funds and executives on a broad range of topics (marketing & advertising, public relations, entity formation, shareholder & operating agreements, commercial contracts, intellectual property, securities, etc.). Digital business representation and digital assets experience is a plus. This is anticipated to be a full-time, remote role offered on a contract basis. Temp-to-Perm will be considered for the right candidate.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of law firm and/or in-house experience handling a wide variety of corporate transactions & general corporate matters
• Experience handling such matters as commercial contracts, advertising, marketing, PR, risk mitigation, company compliance and corporate formation documents, etc.
• Superior oral and written communication skills, and attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to manage tight deadlines and organize workflows
• Proven aptitude for advising emerging and established companies, entrepreneurs, private investment funds and/or executives
• Excellent academic credentials and work history
• A licensed member of the New York bar
